Demonstrated here is the first of two primary "blueprints" for the RockBox Destroyer line of pro pedalboards. This design allows for a looper/true bypass box to be used at the front of the board without sacrificing space on the first row of pedals.

Destroyer Detail

- This image clearly demonstrates the advantages of removable surfaces on the Destroyer. The removable surfaces offer unparalleled ease in the setup process. They also allow for quick removal for troubleshooting if something goes wrong with your signal during a jam or gig. The surfaces are covered in Velcro® Veltex® fabric, which locks into the Industrial-Strength Velcro® stripping on the frame. This method of attaching the surfaces to the frame has been gig-tested and proven time and time again to be a reliable form of attachment.

- When it comes to cable routing, there are almost endless possibilities with the Destroyer. There are two cable routes to the 2nd level through the back wall of the frame, one route on either side of the frame (one towards the wah platform and one on the opposite end), and a route through the middle leg of the frame. On top of that, with spaces between the front pedal surfaces, cables can be routed anywhere on the pedalboard with ease. They will also remain inconspicuous, given that they can be run underneath the board all the way to the target pedal in most cases.

- Six heavy-duty steel L-brackets attach the frame to the bottom of the case. There are also screws running directly through the 3 forward legs of the frame going directly into the case bottom.

- Quite visible are the bottom halves of the heavy-duty recessed butterfly latches which are optional on Standard RockBox Pedalboards, but are standard equipment on all RockBox Destroyer pedalboards.

- The input / output jacks mounted on the rear of the frame all have ample cable to reach anywhere on the pedalboard, and can be routed freely to their respective destinations.

- The Voodoo Lab Pedal Power II Plus fits nicely underneath the 2nd level tier on the Destroyer. There is plenty of room left for other things as well underneath the tier, such as another Pedal Power II Plus (the Destroyer can be outfitted with two PPII / PPAC units), a DI Box, or other things that you may use, but don't necessarily need direct access to.
